ok peeps. i got a lot to say about this one: seriously. last chapter i'm uploading now if you want more you'll have to buy it when i'm done. this is not in any way meant to be against autism or meant to show it in a negative light. i've had the most awful trouble trying to make it convincing without going for the stereotypical maths-genius autistic. suggestions or pointers appreciated orz i wonder how many of you guessed that Dot was autistic it's looking like i'm going to have to publish these in black and white, because it's not really worth it being twice as expensive in colour when i'm only using two colours (other than black and white). but i uploaded it in colour anyway, because i prefer it this way help me name this damn thing!!! i can think of chapter titles a plenty but i'm lost for an overall title. i want it to be something short and cute and not necessarily to do with the comic at all (i called a comic "silverfish" and it had nothing to do with silverfish bugs).
please check my journal for updates on when this will be published! i'm planning on printing the story in different parts. the first part has the working title "memories of childhood", with "memories of adolescence" being the working title for part two.
Wow. I'm stunned, this is really gorgeous! I like how you have used pink and dots as a "theme" for the story. The story itself get a kind of a ironic feeling, yet its very sad. This is a piece of art that feels good to read and to look at, and I have a very good feeling from reading this, because it's a great story. You have "squised" a lot into only some "pages", and it's original. The end is what I like the most actually, because that isn't what usually happens.. At last something with a "not-a-very-happy-end". And how you've described the girls' feelings is beautiful. She looks so innocent. I also like it because my cousin is like this, it1s not confirmed that he have autism, but I can see him in your "dot".
