a portrait of my sister which i had to do for my AS level fine art coursework. the coursework theme is portraiture. for our second final portrait we got to choose the context, and i chose obesity/gluttony/materialism.
done in oil paint
it's....less than 12 inches tall i think. it's a tiny painting.
I really love this! The amount of details you managed to squeeze in by painting and in a small one too.. I also love the texture of the brushstrokes, they seem so fluid and are just delish. ;u; I hope to see more of your paintingggnnss. <3
Oh mygod is she eating Marabou-chocolate? I don't blame her, honestly. <3
That much detail in less than 12 inches? In paint? Damn. The colors are great too, especially the skin tone. [It's fun to see the different colors in the skin tone. ] That's pretty spectacular.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
