i HATE drawing background scenery, so this was an attempt to force myself to practice. more than drawing background scenery i hate perspective on buildings, so i took a few cues from "Tekkon Kinkreet" and made it the hell up
this is based on like...3 different streets in london. if you know which ones they are, then you've probably been stalking me.
sorry i've been so quiet recently, also. art college is draining, i'll be putting up some pictures of my final project soon though.
I hear ya'; I hate drawing backgrounds too. Thus, My imaginary world is called BadlyDrawnLand, and thusy-thus it's citizens don't expect great landscapes with their crappy sunrises. This, however, is incredible! not only did you get the perspective down-pat, but the buildings have such life and tell such a wonderful story! Amazing work! ^^

I love how it's not made of stiff, straight lines, but instead defies natural laws and yet still looks natural and organic. That was just one more thing I really liked about Circle; the fluid backgrounds.
